I’m Susan Ryan, the owner and founder of Fossick Design.

Growing up on a farm north of Clare in South Australia developed a sense of resourcefulness, creativity, and a deep connection to the land. Drawn to art, design, and technology from an early age, studies in Visual Communication (Graphic Design) at UniSA laid the foundation for a lifelong career in design.

Throughout a career spanning local start-ups, family-run businesses, and national organisations, the focus has remained the same: helping businesses elevate their brand, communicate with clarity, and show up with confidence.

The approach blends creativity with strategy, rooted in collaboration, honesty, and digging deeper - which is why the Discover, Develop & Deliver process centres on unearthing the values, stories, and strengths that make each brand unique.

Based in a studio in Kapunda, between the Barossa and Clare Valley, and supported by family, Fossick Design is dedicated to helping rural and regional businesses tell their stories with authenticity. Through thoughtful brand development and meaningful visual communication, businesses find their voice, strengthen their presence, and share what sets them apart.
